1. A natural disaster may disrupt operations at Site A, which would then cause the pump room at site B to become inoperable. Site A: Directory Server Corrective action: Synchronize the SIEM database. 2. A natural disaster may disrupt operations at Site A, which would then cause the pump room at site B to become inoperable. Site A: SCADA Master Controller Corrective action: Update the SCADA Master Controller software. 3.A natural disaster may disrupt operations at Site A, which would then cause unreliable Internet connectivity at site B due to route flapping. Site A: VPN Concentrator Corrective action: Modify the BGP configuration.

The VPN Concentrator at Site B needs to have the BGP configuration fixed. By modifying the BGP configuration at Site B, you can: Stabilize the network by ignoring flapping routes from Site A. Ensure Site B maintains reliable Internet connectivity during a disaster at Site A.

I agree with this, especially with the last scenario. We are focused on the disruption at Site A and the affected host. Which is clearly the VPN Concentrator. Yes the host is affected at site B but the primary cause is Site A. If we would choose both A and B for scenario 3, we would need to add the affected host at site B for the other 2 as well. Take my test tomorrow. We will see

Point to note...there is no option for Directory Server or SCADA MC on Site B...but there are 2 VPN Concentrators... Like guwno, inquiring minds want to know...how did the test go?

You only do the corrective action on the last scenario 3 Scenario 1: move the icon numbered 1 to the Directory Server for interlock Scenario 2: move the icon numbered 2 to the SCADA Master Controller Scenario 3: move the icon numbered 3 to VPN Concentrator, then click on the drop down menu to select Modify the BGP configuration.

Passed within the last two months. Scenario 1: Directory Server Scenario 2: SCADA Master Controller Scenario 3: VPN Concentrator at site A (You can only choose one site on the exam not both) Corrective Action: Modify the BGP configuration

You only do the corrective action on the last scenario, not all 3. Scenario 1: Directory Server Scenario 2: SCADA Master Controller Scenario 3: VPN Concentrator at both Site A and Site B (it does say item(s)) Corrective Action: Modify the BGP configuration So the only thing I'm not sure on is whether you'd say the VPN Concentrator only at site B or both sites. I've never messed with BGP settings. My guess is both especially given the item(s) indicator.

within BGP you can modify the VRF bandwidth going over the network, so I guess we're going to assume that the VPN to the internet can handle the increased amount of traffic heading from A to B to the internet. Depending on how the company works, there may be a Internet Service Provider handling that. If that's the case, you'd have to purchase more bandwidth from the ISP. Most of the time, these things are ordered to where the link is at a maximum of 50% capacity. So there's that. Considering BGP configurations, if site B had BGP bandwidth configured at 1G and with 500M real-time traffic, and site A had 1G of traffic real-time that has to route to B then to the internet, the BGP VRFs would be the first bottleneck to look at, as its pushing 1.5G through a 1G BGP VRF. Thoughts?

VPN Concentrator at site B, flapping at a due to routing through B due to congestion. Only internet connection, which required reconfiguration?
