Selected Answer: A
A Full-tunnel VPN provides the highest security for a user who travels often while also offering the highest bandwidth requirements for a satisfactory user experience. Explanation: Full-tunnel VPN: In a full-tunnel VPN configuration, all of the user's internet traffic, regardless of destination, is routed through the VPN tunnel to the corporate network. This ensures that all communication is encrypted and secured, even when the user is accessing the internet from public or untrusted networks. While this level of security is ideal for protecting sensitive data, it can result in higher bandwidth usage due to routing all traffic through the VPN. Benefits of Full-tunnel VPN for the scenario described: Highest Security: All traffic is encrypted and protected, making it the most secure option for users who frequently travel and connect to various networks, including public Wi-Fi.

full tunnel has exceptionally lower throughput than split tunnel because the data goes through a next gen firewall. NGFW does deep packet inspection which is very compute expensive, and thus the bandwidth drops a huge amount.

Initially I thought full tunnel as it is the most secure, however it says "BUT also has the highest bandwidth requirements". Full tunnel leads to slower speeds as it requires ALL of your data to be encrypted, therefore I'm going with D.

Split tunneling allows you to increase speed while encrypting specific data. This would provide a satisfactory user experience while encrypting corporate data. Which would also satisfy the second portion of the question. https://www.fortinet.com/resources/cyberglossary/vpn-split-tunneling

it says THE MOST SECURE and full tunnel is the most secure here. It is not B. because it does not mention anything about sites and C. doesn't make sense. Like you said split-tunnel allows non company traffic to go through which makes it less secure then full tunnel
