This is a bit confusing. Can someone help me out here. Because both A and B are correct answers. They both support 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. So why would A be the primary answer?
A. 802.11ac: This protocol primarily operates on the 5GHz band and offers high-speed wireless connections. While it is backward compatible with 2.4GHz devices through previous standards (like 802.11n), it is mainly designed for 5GHz.
B. 802.11ax: Also known as Wi-Fi 6, this protocol supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, providing better performance, efficiency, and capacity across both frequencies.
C. 802.11b: This standard operates only on the 2.4GHz band and does not support 5GHz devices.
D. 802.11g: This standard also operates only on the 2.4GHz band and does not support 5GHz devices.
Ax can use both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz bands, while 802.11ac can only use the 5 GHz band. This means that ax can offer more flexibility and compatibility with older devices that only support the 2.4 GHz band
Answer is "B" as 802.11ax or wifi6 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Some of you are confused also saying "A" 802.11ac(wifi5) which "PRIMARILY" supports 5GHz, however its true "SOME" not all 802.11ac routers do have dual compatibility also for older standard devices using 2.4GHZ. So yes its B with 802.11ax if you want to guarantee both frequency's available always.
802.11ac operates only in the 5 GHz band, while 802.11ax works in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Wrong. 802.11ac operates in 5GHz. People like you who don't research make it harder for people. Do your research before throwing out useless information. 802.11AX is the correct answer.
A is not correct. A supports only 5GHz while B (802.11ax) supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
