A One of the possible causes of extreme slowness and application crashes on a phone is low or insufficient storage space. This can affect the performance and functionality of the phone, as well as prevent new applications from being installed or updated. The technician should check the storage space on the phone and see if there is enough free space available for the diagnostic application and other operations. The technician should also advise the customer to delete or move any unnecessary or unused files, apps, or data from the phone to free up some space. Selected Answer: A
Lack of storage space will cause the device to be slow and not allow any more installations to occur to use up more space

Selected Answer: A
A. Check the storage space. Options B, C, and D are unlikely to address the issue of extreme slowness and app crashes. Inspecting the screen for damage would not provide any insight into the performance of the device. Installing the latest updates or recalibrating the digitizer may help improve performance in some cases, but they are unlikely to address the specific issue of extreme slowness and app crashes.

Selected Answer: B
In this case, I am between A and B actually. Applications are crashing and performance is slow; in addition to that diagnostic app fails to install which might look like a lack of space in the storage. However, the word FIRST to troubleshoot - inspecting the screen for the damage think would be the best. So I am 50%B - 50% A. Total guess - B. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

I go with A since the question asked for the first step to troubleshoot THE issue. B is more general and A is targeting the issue.
