A - I think that this is a qualitative issue especially if he/she skips analyzing the qualitative data. What is happening is an observation, or drawing a conclusion of a qualitative issue. The act of redesign after documenting the testing report is absent from an acceptable answer, so we are left with analysing an observation. "Just completed focus group testing"

I agree, this is not quantative data. What the user does is qualitative, what the aggregate of the users do as a summation is quantative.

- Collect the data: Quantitative data includes measurable things like the time (seconds or minutes) it takes to complete a task, the number of clicks, pages, menus, levels, the error count, and so on. Qualitative data consists of what the subject says, how she behaves, her emotional affect, body language, facial expressions, etc. - Analyze the data: Quantitative data calls for mathematical calculation: sums, averages, deviations, statistical models. Qualitative data is usually analyzed more from a cognitive psychology angle, such as: behavioral or emotional. - Draw conclusions: Assess the scope and severity of the problems revealed in testing. - Document the results: The results of a usability test are presented in a usability test report.

Quantitative data deals with numbers. This is qualitative.
