The wizard has a point for redirecting requests from port 80 BUT the wizard creates a "Down" loadbalancer with protection enabled, and the redirection URL set to https://... Therefore, A and B a wrong.
I would go with CDE. During the Wizard you have to put the VIP for the Gateway Virtual Server, you have to bind a SSL certificate or add one and you have to select or add at least one authentication method and an optional secondary (Ex: LDAP + RADIUS)
The A. and B. I think they mean creating an actual policy for that action with all that it takes including a LoadBalancer for it.
