A. FALSE - There is a maximum of 200 layer total whatever the layer type
https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX225952/citrix-app-layering-4x-best-practices#:~:text=There%20is%20a%20maximum%20of,1%20for%20the%20Platform%20layer.
B. TRUE- You can perform the majority of the application layer workload. but there is limitation : https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-app-layering/4/layer/assign-elastic-layers.html
C. TRUE - The catch here is "from the user perspective". An elastic layer is an app layer that you assign to individual users and groups for delivery on demand.
https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-app-layering/4/layer/assign-elastic-layers.html
D.TRUE - You can reduce the number of golden image
E. FALSE - Elastic layer are not isolation container, they work the same as another app layer.
A, B, and D
C. is not entirely true as Elastic Layers may appear identical to other application layers, but some application-specific configurations may differ.
E. is not true as Elastic Layers are not primarily for applications with compatibility issues for specific users or groups. Instead, they are typically used to optimize the delivery of applications to specific groups of users or to manage applications with different requirements.
A. is true as there is no limit on the number of Elastic Layers that can be built as long as there is sufficient SMB storage space and network bandwidth to support them.
B. is true as Elastic Layers are usually built to perform the majority of the application layer workload for users, enabling the use of a simpler base image.
D. is true as by using Elastic Layers, organizations can reduce the number of golden images they need to manage, simplifying the management of their App Layering environment.
Should be A,C,D
A - You have no limit as to how many Elastic Layers you can build, or how many Apps you include in each; provided the SMB
share has enough storage, and the network has enough bandwidth for throughput.
C - When users log into their session or desktop, icons for their Elastic layers will appear as shortcuts on the desktop.
D - Elastic Layers are typically chosen for applications that only a few users or groups require. It helps to reduce large number of Golden images

I think the answers are B, C, D.
A: there is a limit of 200 layers https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2017/08/07/enterprise-architect-techtalk-citrix-app-layering-faq/ (Plus there's a very real hit to login time with each added elastic layer. You'd need some really patient users.)
B: I think this is probably true. If the image template has the 'base' applications like Office, Firefox, Acrobat, then each department with unique applications(accounting, hr, IT, etc..) could all be elastic layered.
C: Definitely true
D: Definitely true
E: I could see an argument to make an application elastic layered if it had compatibility issues but I'd have trouble arguing it's the 'primary' reason to use elastic layering.
It is A, C, D. You've misread the question as the 200 limit is on published images. There is no limit on the number of Elastic Layers you can create - the question doesn't require any to be actually used.
