A - GSLB directs clients to the closest or best performing data center. Pretty much its job.

This is NOT Optimal Gateway Routing - OGR doesn't make any decisions about WHERE your session launches, only how you get there. The question is ensuring you end up at the closest DC, which can only be done using GSLB

Selected Answer: D
Optimal Gateway Routing ensurs that HDX launches occur via the closest NetScaler Gateway, even if the users connect to a sub‐optimal gateway. The NetScaler Gateway Routing solution essentially de-couples or separates the initial logon Gateway from the HDX launch Gateway, based on where the app or desktop is located, not where you logon. This helps solve the GSLB misdirection problem that someusers may be experiencing, while maintaining the integrity of the system.

Selected Answer: A
A [GSLB] is correct CWS-415-2I-en-StudentManual-v01 p.681 GSLB is a Citrix Gateway feature that: • Balances load across data centers. • Directs client requests to the closest or best performing data center. • Can direct client requests to responsive data centers only in a disaster recovery scenario. Optimal Gateway Routing is more for aggregate resources from multiple sites

"A" could be right "How GLSB works: criteria: - Closest Datacenter" BUT!!!: https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/white-paper/ns-optimal-gateway-routing-tech-wp.pdf (after the CLSB Link: "Our NetScaler team listened to our customers, and delivered a solution that uses NetScaler Gateway and Citrix Storefront to deliver the best user experience by ensuring that HDX launches occur via the closest NetScaler Gateway, even if the users connect to a sub-optimal gateway.") For sure it's "Optimal Gateway Routing"!

D should be the right answer as "... remote users". Optimal Gateway Routing enables the best connection for remote users.
