answer D, E
D might be correct as Citrix training says: "Steps to create an OS layer: ... Step 2: ... Run all the latest windows updates " and also: "Windows updates must be applied to the OS layer before you update any other layers"
E is obvious: "Steps to create an OS layer: Step 1: Install the Windows operating system from an ISO file."
A is incorrect - because we create new version of OS layer with updates and not new OS layer
B is incorrect - "Do not join the OS layer to an Active Directory domain"
C is incorrect - "Windows updates must be disabled"
Tough one this. B and C are definitely wrong and E is definitely correct.
Citrix advise any OS layer updates should be on new versions and not new layers (A new layer would mean that the Platform and App layers need to be re-done).
D is also technically not correct as Citrix state:
"If you use any MS products that are updated by Windows Update but don't have a separate section like Office does, include those in the OS layer as well. For example, Windows Defender."
The answers do not specify this and just say Microsoft products updated by Windows Update (Which Office normally is). However, Office should always have its own layer.
Would have to go with D and E, but only because the other 3 are wrong - don't like D though
Yes, it must be D and E.
Regarding to D, Citrix says: If you use any Microsoft products that are updated by Windows Update, but don’t
have a separate section like Office does, include those in the OS layer as well.
• For example, Windows Defender.
