A is definitely the correct answer. The requirement for "Provisioning" gave it away that it is a NO public cloud implementation.

It is A. The question states: The desktops for the users are provisioned using Citrix Provisioning. Citrix Provisioning is not supported in the cloud.

Final proof for option D. Under Key Skills for the exam. Understand the differences between Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2203 LTSR on-premises. https://training.citrix.com/learning/course?courseId=1975

Ok. Since provisioning in Azure came available with 2203 LTSR, I'm changing my stance. Provisioning Server located in the resource location where Citrix Provisioning targets must run: Citrix Provisioning server must be 1912 or later for on-premises, and 2203 or later for Citrix Provisioning on Azure. https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/current-release/configure/cloud-connector.html

I'm going with A based on the fact that they are still using MAK activation as a reason for catalog creation failure which is now supported. Granted, this MCS update came out July 18, 2023. It's a coin toss all. I believe they should remove these unintended trick questions or at least specify the version of CVAD they are testing you on. https://updates.cloud.com/details/mcs-supports-windows-mak-license-activation-pmcs30910/

To update your current CCV-P, one of the options is to take this exam. This is meant to check if your knowledge is stil up-to-date. Do they expect to also know what is working now and what wassn't a couple of years ago?? What the hell is the answer to this question if people are saying that when the exam came out, PVS was not supported yet!? It is for sure supported now! https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/current-release/configure/cloud-connector.html

I think A is correct. Is the goal is to reduce costs and implement external access, keep the PVS you already have and add the new things you don't have to citrix cloud. If you also "migrate" the PVS to public cloud, that's a cost you don't really need to do to have external access.

It says, " reducing the cost and the effort required to maintain the infrastructure." the trick is MAINTAIN RESOURCES, not replace all. Then is unnecessary PVS to Cloud, only add Citrix Cloud and Gateway Services. Answer A 100%
