B. Install Citrix Cloud Connectors on the Citrix Provisioning servers. The Citrix Cloud Connectors serve as a channel between the on-premises environment and the Citrix Cloud, facilitating communication and management tasks necessary for the migration

Connector docs clearly state that no other Citrix components should be installed, so forget that option. I'm going with Remote SDKs as that is definitely a requirement but don't place them on the CCs.

As student manual says: "If you want to create new VMs instead of using the existing Device Collection, you can utilize the Citrix Virtual Desktops Setup Wizard. First deploy the Citrix Cloud Remote SDK on the Provisioning Servers, then update the VDA software in a copy of your vDisk to register with the Cloud Connectors. Use the wizard to deploy new VMs and associate them with the new vDisk, create the matching Delivery Groups and decommission the old VMs"

By a process of elmination I suppose you have to choose C although question does not state what version it is so not happy with this either. A. No. nothing to do with migrating PVS to Cloud. B. Citrix docs says under System Requirements of Citrix Cloud Connectors "Use dedicated machines for hosting the Cloud Connector. Do not install any other components on these machines." D. Citrix docs says NOT to do this. "Do not install on-premises Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops PowerShell SDK or the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Remote Powershell SDK on the system running the Citrix Provisioning console. " A compatible version is already installed with the PVS Console installation.

Only evidence I can add for this is https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/current-release/configure/cloud-connector.html#connecting-your-citrix-provisioning-deployment-to-the-citrix-virtual-apps-and-desktops-in-citrix-cloud where it states 2 points to move an existing installation to the cloud. 1. Add a Cloud Connector. 2. Upgrade Citrix Provisioning Cos of reqmt for dedicated machine for connector. I go for 2. Upgrade.

Selected Answer: B
The correct answer is B. In order to get application launch working for resources managed by the Citrix Cloud Site, the Citrix Administrator needs to add the Citrix Cloud Connectors as Secure Ticket Authority (STA) servers on Citrix ADC and StoreFront. This will allow the Citrix ADC and StoreFront to communicate with the Citrix Cloud Site and authenticate user requests for application launch. Decommissioning the old Citrix Delivery Controllers and Databases (option A) would not resolve the issue, as the problem is related to the communication between on-premises components and Citrix Cloud. Removing the Citrix policies on the old Citrix Delivery Controllers (option C) would also not solve the issue, as policies are not related to the communication between components. Adding the Citrix Cloud Connectors as XML servers to the existing StoreFront servers (option D) is not the correct solution, as XML servers are responsible for enumerating and providing the list of available resources to the user, but they are not responsible for authenticating user requests for application launch.

B. Install Citrix Cloud Connectors on the Citrix Provisioning servers. In order to migrate a Citrix Provisioning environment to Citrix Cloud and create new virtual machines, the Citrix Administrator needs to install Citrix Cloud Connectors on the Citrix Provisioning servers. Citrix Cloud Connectors provide a secure communication channel between Citrix Cloud and the on-premises resources. Once the Citrix Cloud Connectors are installed, the administrator can create a new Machine Catalog in Citrix Cloud and provision new virtual machines. Option A is incorrect because the Streamed VM Setup Wizard is used to configure a Citrix Provisioning Services farm to stream virtual disks to physical and virtual machines. Option C is incorrect because updating the Citrix Provisioning servers to the latest version is not mandatory to migrate to Citrix Cloud. Option D is incorrect because Citrix Cloud Remote SDK is used to integrate third-party solutions with Citrix Cloud.

Selected Answer: C
I guess answer is correct: Citrix Provisioning supports working with both customer managed and Citrix Cloud Delivery Controllers natively from the same Citrix Provisioning Console. To connect an existing Citrix Provisioning deployment to Citrix Cloud: Add a Cloud Connector to your managed components, for example, resource locations. Upgrade Citrix Provisioning. Citrix Provisioning server must be 1912 or later for on-premises, and 2203 or later for Citrix Provisioning on Azure. Recommended version is the latest CU of one of the LTSRs, 1912, or 2203. See the download page.

I go with C Sometimes, an error message appears indicating that the Citrix Provisioning version does not support the Citrix Cloud license schema. For example, if you are using Provisioning Services version 7.15 and attempt to use the connector for Citrix Cloud, an error message appears: Provisioning Server located in the resource location where Citrix Provisioning targets must run: This server must be 2203 or later.

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/current-release/configure/cloud-connector.html: "Provisioning Server located on-premises; this server must be 1912 or later" "Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Remote PowerShell SDK: The Provisioning Console installation includes the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops SDK. The Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Remote PowerShell SDK replaces the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops SDK. The SDK is used by the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Setup Wizard to push VDA records to the Delivery Controller in Citrix Cloud." D is correct.

A is wrong. That wizard has nothing to do with Citrix Cloud. B is wrong. A Cloud Connector is a dedicated machine, not an optional service. C is wrong, because it is totally unspecified. D should be correct.
