VLAN Tagging (802.1q): This technology adds a tag to Ethernet frames to identify which VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) the traffic belongs to. This allows multiple virtual networks to coexist on a single physical interface.
Without VLAN tagging:
Traffic from different instances would collide, leading to data corruption and connectivity issues.
