just based on the wording... one web based portal for 802.1x you wouldn´t need a portal for employees MAC doesn´t make sense as Guest would have to register first - no mentioning of a self-reg portal only way for one web portal to work for both would be Local Guest users and a Ldap connection for employees

Webbased is always MAB, not 802.1x. Employee = ldap. Guest = local.

in can be A and D. maybe they are using in the identity sequence LDAP and also LOCAL DB. If an user is using the AD is going to be connected, in case that the users does not exist then ISE will use the local database for use a local user for authentication to the portal

I go for A, B on this one. MAB authentication first (MAC based) - continue to central web auth and then LDAP for employees, with option of self registration or sponsored for guests.
