I'm going to go with D here. The checkbox to enable local profiling is called Device Classification. Source: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/215661-in-depth-look-into-client-profiling-on-9.html and logging into my own 9800.

Selected Answer: D
Device Classification: Device classification is a feature on the Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLC that allows the controller to identify and classify connected devices based on their characteristics, such as operating system, device type, and behavior. This feature does not require any external servers and uses built-in logic to classify devices. Why Not the Other Options?: A. Native Profile: Native profiles are used for specific device configurations (e.g., Apple devices) but do not provide a comprehensive assessment of all client types. B. MAC Classification: MAC classification is used to identify devices based on their MAC addresses, but it does not provide detailed information about the device type or operating system. C. Local Profile: Local profiles are used for local authentication and profiling but require additional configuration and do not inherently classify devices.

In order for Local profiling to work, simply enable Device Classification under Configuration > Wireless > Wireless Global. This option enables MAC OUI, HTTP and DHCP profiling at the same time:
