Refer to the exhibit. Drag and drop the prefix lengths from the left onto the corresponding prefixes on the right. Not all prefixes are used. Select and Place:
I would say the last one is .252
The reason for this is: 209.165.202.128 is reachable via 10.10.12.2 and 10.10.12.2 is part of the 10.10.12.2/30, hence 252
The Correct order is :
.128
.240
.248
.224 : About this ..... it already stated that the 209.165.202.0/27 is subnetted into 1 subnet which is 209.165.202.128 the 5th available subnet for /27 they go as (first 0-31, second 32-63, third 64-95 , Fourth 96-127 AND the 5th 128-160 etc...)
Correct order:
.128
.240
.248
.224 is the right answer for the last one.
The exhibit explains that it is subnetted and improperly configured because the AD is 20 with the metric of "0". OSPF metric can never be "0"
I had to do a little bit of research and I came up with this:
In the figure, it says 209.165.202.0/27 is subnetted, 1 subnet. This means the classfull address of the original network 209.165.202.0/24 has one subnet with /27 subnet mask. This means that 209.165.202.128 will have /27 SM >>> 255.255.255.240.
Also from the figure
The classful address 10.0.0.0/8 of the original network is variably subnetted into 8 subnets with 4 different subnet masks (/25,/28,/29./30.) From the figure, we have 8 subnets from the original network 10.0.0.0/8 with 4 different subnet masks.
correct answer
255.255.255.128 (10.10.13.0/25 includes 10.10.13.0 IP address)
255.255.255.240 (10.10.13.144/28 includes 10.10.13.144 IP address)
255.255.255.248 (10.10.13.160/29 includes 10.10.13.160 IP address)
255.255.255.248 refer to my explanation above
Classful address 209.165.202.0/24 of the original network belongs to class C and has the following range of IP addresses (209.165.202.0-209.165.202.255)
Classful address 10.0.0.0/8 of the original network belongs to class A and has the following range of IP addresses (10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255)
using these IP addresses we can make subnets.
The STATEMENT in the routing table that comes before the subnets:
If it says "subnetted" then the subnet mask provided with the statement is the subnet mask of the subnet. If it says "variably subnetted" then the subnet mask of the subnet is different. The statement also gives the number of subnets and subnet masks being used.
