The threshold value doesn't make sense in relation to timeout : if you wait 5 times longer than the statistical threshold, then
you don't need statistics, so C&E is correct...
I am going to recant ;-) my previous statement , this threshold value wouldn't make this fail it's correct and indeed source should be f0/0 in my opinion, so it's A&C
I thought one of the issues would be the no ip router 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.20.20.2. Wouldn't that get rid of tracking? The answer the source-interface is configured incorrectly could just mean the interface configuration is wrong. Other than that I don't see why it would fail.
"ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.30.30.2.5" is wrong, because the next hop is not an valid ip address 172.30.30.2.5 However, it does not affect the ip sla tracking failure .
OK, D is not the correct answer but not for the reason you say. in "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.30.30.2 5", the 5 is the administrative distance that they're setting for the floating static route so that the secondary link takes over when the primary link goes down.
I think that it is a Typo "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.30.30.2.5", the las number "5" is the administrative distance, correct "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.30.30.2 5"
For all other IP SLAs operations, the following configuration guideline is recommended:
(frequencyseconds ) > (timeoutmilliseconds ) > (thresholdmilliseconds )
10 sec > 5 sec > 0.5 sec
So, threshold is correct and E is wrong option
So, I think answer maybe --> A and C --> It is actually A or C can cause the problem but not together
Answer is incorrect: Source interface is configured correctly. The last config line seems to have a wrong IP address as next hop.
I would say CD are correct.
Note: this question circulates in different forms. There are versions in which the source address is wrond indeed.
