Is Wi-Fi faster on phone or laptop? The reason why Wi-Fi is faster on a smartphone than on that computer is obvious. It's clearly not equipped with the hardware to be able to connect at this speed. The item that does not allow us to do this is a Wi-Fi network adapter for your desktop or laptop computer.
