The correct answer should be "A and B" since you cannot perform upgrade on individual VDC. Upgrade is performed simultaneously for all VDCs on the same physical node..

Selected Answer: AB
A Virtual Port-Channel allows a device which is physically connected to two different Nexus switches to ‘think’ it is connected to a single device. The Hot Standby Router Protocol, HSRP, provides a mechanism which is designed to support non-disruptive failover of IP traffic in certain circumstances. In particular, the protocol protects against the failure of the first hop router when the source host cannot learn the IP address of the first hop router dynamically.

When you upgrade the Cisco NX-OS software, you upgrade the software for all virtual device contexts (VDCs) on the physical device. You cannot upgrade the Cisco NX-OS software for an individual VDC.

A and B is correct. vPC - L2 and L3 multipathing and link redundancy HSRP- L3 redundancy (gateway) To complement "MaxG" response, MLAG doesn’t support L3 multipathing.

A and B are correct. Just to add additional context. MLAG (Multi-chassis Link Aggregation) is a non-standard protocol that enables Layer 2 multipathing from the host to gain either additional bandwidth or link resiliency. It’s a public protocol so that every vendor can support MLAG by using their own custom rolled implementation of it. Cisco's implementation of MLAG is vPC, which is Cisco proprietary and only works between the same model of Cisco switches running the same version of NX-OS.

A and B, because you cannot perform upgrade on individual VDC. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/7_x/nx-os/upgrade/guide/b_Cisco_Nexus_7000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_7-x.html
