When we create VMs on the NFS-LUN, the wizard only let's you choose for Thin Provisioning, which is normal and good since we only use the datastore for templates.

That is a forum entry and LUN is only mentioned by the initial poster. Thin provisioning and dynamic allocation of storage means the same, but NFS can't be a LUN as it is a SAN term, thus the answer should be D.
