VTP version 1 and version 2 support VLANs 1 to 1000 only. Extended-range VLANs are supported only in VTP version 3. If converting from VTP version 3 to VTP version 2, VLANs in the range 1006 to 4094 are removed from VTP control. Answer is Transparent .
In VTP versions 1 and 2, the switch must be in VTP transparent mode when you create extended-range VLANs. VTP version 3 also supports creating extended-range VLANs in client or server mode. See the "Configuring Extended-Range VLANs" section on page 13-10.

You can create, modify, and delete VLANs on a switch in VTP transparent mode. In VTP versions 1 and 2, the switch must be in VTP transparent mode when you create extended-range VLANs.
It should be A - transparent mode.
I've verified it in my virtual lab (EVE-NG with L2 images) - I successfully added VLAN 2000 on the switch with VTPv2 and in transparent mode.
kind of a trick question -- could this be Transparent ?? if talking about only Ver 1 or Ver 2 transparent would be needed ---
