A company data center requires a new disaster recovery solution to host critical services. The solution can sustain several hours of data loss because the services are routinely backed up to an offsite location. Also, the disaster recovery solution must provide 24-hour availability. Due to the strict policy requirements, the company wants to retain complete control of when the failover process occurs.

Which solution meets these requirements?

Selected Answer: B
I would also say warm standby. Especially with the keyword "Critical services" ... although says it can sustain several hours of data loss and provide 24hr availability. Cold fits into all of this, but warm is a little more "critical" ... idk. Another too ambiguous of question with room to argue. Very annoying. There is nothing concrete that can say this isn't warm or cold. The only real difference is cold equipment is actively powered off and gets powered on when needed. so maybe that is where the 24hour availability is, if no one is around to turn up the equipment at any given moment. But can be done remotely thesed days with PDUs and such....but will say warm standby

Selected Answer: B
Warm Standby provides faster recovery times and higher availability by maintaining partially active redundant resources. Answer should be B.
