At 6dB : mW = 3.98=4mW them original tx power = 4mW + 3.98 = 7.98mW correct answer is 8mW that is A.

Why 4*4?? Why not 4+4=8 nW

Correct, 4 times the power = +6dB -> 4*4m=16mW
