An engineer is configuring a Cisco Collaboration system for SIP endpoints and must enable Survivable Remote Site Telephony for these endpoints. Which code completes this configuration on the SRST gateway?
A.
call-manager-fallback max-conferences 8 gain –6 ip source-address 10.10.10.100 port 2000 max-ephones 100 max-dn 200
B.
telephony-service max-conferences 8 gain –6 ip source-address 10.10.10.100 port 2000 max-ephones 100 max-dn 200
C.
voice service voip default mode secure address hiding allow-connections sip to sip sip registrar
D.
voice register global default mode no allow-hash-in-dn max-dn 100 max-pool 200
MS-VGW-67(config)#voice register global
MS-VGW-67(config-register-global)#mode srst/esrst >>>>>>>>(ESRST is optional enables more features in the Cisco Unified ESRST mode.)
MS-VGW-67(config-register-global)# system message "SIP SRST 3845 Service” >>> the System Msg display on the Phones
MS-VGW-67(config-register-global)# max-dn 200 >>> Max number of directory number on the SRST system, platform dependent
MS-VGW-67(config-register-global)# max-pool 100 >>> Max number of Pools on the SRST system, platform dependent
I have configured SIP SRST for many sites. The answer is D. As some stated earlier, ephones are SCCP. Unless the question is wrong and max-ephones is supposed to be max-pool, I have to cast my vote for D, even though there is not enough there either for SRST.
This question is awful. SIP endpoints do NOT use ephone configurations. Unless, you wanted your phones to download SCCP software as they fallback to the SRST device, A is not the answer. D is the most logically sound answer here. I have worked with CIPT for 15 years and I am a Voice Network Engineer at a very large "company". Really, none of these answers will get you SRST. For SIP devices you would need at least a voice register pool with id-network configured. D is the best as it specifies "default mode" which is ESRST in the Voice Register (used for SIP). Who makes this stuff?!?!?!
The correct answer is D
We're talking about SIP endpoints and these devices to register you need to global config of voice register glabal with max-dn and max-pool.
See Enable SRST on the SRST Gateway:

SRST Fallback Mode (call-manager-fallback), is applicable only for SCCP phones. SIP phones are not supported. This question is about sip endpoints.
