A Cisco Meraki MX security appliance is trying to route a packet to the destination IP address of 172.18.24.12. Which routes contained in its routing table does it select?
My bad the correct answer is B I misunderstood the question. If all of this routes exist in routing table ( Directly Connected, Client VPN, Static Routes, Auto VPN Routes, Non-Meraki, VPN Peers, BGP learned Routes, NAT ) with various subnets then the most specific (longest prefix) IP address will be chosen as route. If no routes are defined, then the traffic is NATed and sent out an active Internet interface. This only occurs while the MX is configured in Routed mode.
When multiple routes exist to the particular destination in this case router pick most specific ip address (longest prefix) to that destination this is overlapping rule nothing to do with question. MX cannot route between two Non-Meraki VPN peers imagen that we have multiple non Meraki devices.MX has a specific priority in comparison with other types of routes. The priority is as follows:
Directly Connected
Client VPN
Static Routes
Auto VPN Routes
Non-Meraki VPN Peers
BGP learned Routes
NAT
Correct: B
The destination IP address 172.18.24.12 falls within the range of all the above routes. However, the most specific route (longest prefix match) is the one with the /24 subnet mask because it covers a smaller range of IP addresses and therefore provides a more precise match.
Correct: B
Because of the most specific priority, we could check at documentation below in the section "Overlaping Routes"
Overlapping Routes
Route priority dictates how traffic is routed when multiple routes exist to the same subnet. However, overlapping routes that are not identical are also present in many deployments. In this case, the most specific route will be used.

It should be C
Route Priority
Each type of route configured on the MX has a specific priority in comparison with other types of routes. The priority is as follows:
Directly Connected
Client VPN
Static Routes
AutoVPN Routes
Non-Meraki VPN Peers
BGP learned Routes
NAT*

B is correct, the more specific route is used. Priority only applies for identical routes.
