Configure Direct Attached Storage The general process to configure DAS in UCS is: 1. Configure FI in FC switch mode. 2. Create required virtual SAN (VSAN). <<<< 3. Set the port role in UCS. 4. Check if the storage port worldwide port name (WWPN) is logged in to the fabric. and then Configure FC Zoning The general process to configure the server is: 1. Create storage connection policy. <<< 2. Create a service profile. 3. Associate the service profile with the server. From my understanding you need to do all 7 steps (4+3) for DAS implementation hence I'm voting for D & E

I like your list and agree. But for me (9+ years UCS admin) I am going to say FC Storage Port and Storage connectivity policy. There is a default VSAN 1 that can be utilized, given you don't have other arrays or FC Uplinks using VSAN 1, otherwise you would have to create a new VSAN and correlate to the desired array so the vHBAs can pin to the correct uplink. Not necessarily a 'must' You definitely MUST configure a Storage FC interface for Directly attach array and must zone the array for them to communicate with the storage connectivity policy. You never know whoever wrote this what they read in a document and what answer they are looking for and how expert they are in EVERY technology on this exam. They may have deep level on some, but surely only going to have surface depth on others. Annoying these questions and answers are, especially when some are very subjective.
