A security engineer found a suspicious file from an employee email address and is trying to upload it for analysis, however the upload is failing. The last registration status is still active. What is the cause for this issue?
A.
Cisco AMP for Networks is unable to contact Cisco Threat Grid on premise.
B.
There is a host limit set.
C.
The user agent status is set to monitor.
D.
Cisco AMP for Networks is unable to contact Cisco Threat Grid Cloud.
The answer is probably B...
What is very confusing is that Cisco always, always changes its product names so often.
“Cisco Threat Grid” is now called ‘Secure Malware Analytics’.
Cisco, please PLEASE DON'T use this name for your exams.

My answer is D
host limit is normally configured at network discovery at FMC. So if number of host reached to the maximum for discovery purpose, it will behave like below. "Drop host" means network discovery status, not malware status

I am going to say host limit has been reached as the engineer can see that the status of the last registration is still active, would you not be able to see status if you cannot reach the service?
Rate Limits
The API sample submission rate limit is global for the Threat Grid Appliance under the terms of the license agreement. This affects API submissions ONLY, not manual sample submissions.
Rate limits are based on a window of rolling time, not to a calendar day. When the submission limit is exhausted, the next API submission will return a 429 error, plus a message about how long to wait before retrying. See the portal online Help for more information.
I´d go with B
The last registration status is still active: Sory, Id go for host limit here
