B, E are correct. Unidirectional Link Detection (UDLD) is one of two major features (UDLD and loop guard) in Cisco Switches to prevent Layer 2 loops. In order to detect the unidirectional links before the forwarding loop is created, UDLD works by exchanging protocol packets between the neighboring devices.

UDLD is not related at all. Root guard help for root election faster. This question is simular with Q111.

BE. Root Guard doesn't help election speed in any meaningful way. Its purpose is to protect from undesired switches from taking over root switch role. UDLD helps with resiliency.
