To assign an IPS profile:
In R80 SmartConsole, select Security Policies > Threat Prevention > Policy > IPS.
In the rule, right-click the Action cell.
Select the Threat Prevention profile with the applicable IPS settings.
Install the Access Control policy.

IPS - There is a dedicated layer for the IPS Rule Base for pre-R80 gateways. After you make changes to IPS, install the Access Control policy.
