from CCSA R80 guide: Each Security Gateway in the cluster is called a cluster member. A cluster member that is processing traffic has an Active status. A cluster member that is not receiving any traffic has a Standby status. The Cluster Control Protocol (CCP) connects and binds the cluster members to each other.
