It would be D if it was asking for a Distributed deployment where the Security Gateway and Security Management Server are installed on different appliances. StandAlone refers to when one server can 'stand alone' in its setup, meaning that both the Gateway and Management are installed on one device.
A terrible set up in the real world might I add... always use Distributed...
