Probably D, the question is specific about "the query".

B is correct, Go to page 594 CCSA R.80.30 book student, Authenticating user section in Authentication Schemes. The book say... -"The authentication process begins with a fetch or query to the user database to locate the user. -"All authentication schemes require a username and password to identify valid user". The option D apply to ADQuery, no for LDAP scheme.

C is also required though if using LDAP, seems like B and C are correct.

I would also chose B, it's quite misleading the fact that it says LDAP and not AD.

even C is mandatory... mostly if LDAP server is into a different network

It's clientless and completely transparent to the user. (User has to log into his computer with his AD credentials. The AD Domain controller sends the Security Event log to the Security Gateway...)

Not sure about this one. Any explanation or reference? I would also consider option B. Users that log in to the Active Directory domain are transparently authenticated (with SSO) and identified when using an Identity Agent. If you do not configure SSO, or you disable it, the Identity Agent uses username and password authentication with a standard LDAP server. The system opens a window for entering credentials.
