this was a real question on the updated Pearson VUE exam (R81.20), which took place on May 9, but the answer options were broader, for example, about RAD it was supplemented that the request is sent to the cloud.

Selected Answer: D
CCTE R81.20, p338/339: 1. URL lookup initiated by the client. 2. URL lookup occurs in the kernel cache. 3. The kernel cache notifies the RAD kernel of hits and misses. 4. RAD provides the status of the search to the client. 5. The client sends an a-sync request back to RAD if the URL was not found. 6. The a-sync request is forwarded to the RAD User space via the RAD kernel for online categorization. 7. The online detection service responds with categories and the kernel cache is updated. The question is: …. where the sync-request *** FORWARDED*** from… Point 6. The a-sync request is forwarded to the RAD User space via (OR FROM) the RAD kernel for online categorization. Answer D Answer C: is if the request originates from or initiate from.

Answer could be D. See also answer for question 3: "RAD has a kernel module that looks up the kernel cache, notifies client about hits and misses and forwards a-sync requests to RAD user space module which is responsible for online categorization" --> The kernel module forwards the a-sync requests towards the RAD User Space process

Selected Answer: C
The a-sync request is sent by the URLF Kernel Client to the RAD Kernel and forwarded to the RAD User Space So the a-sync request is forwarded from the URLF Kernel Client to the RAD User Space (although the formulation of that question makes little sens

Wouldn't then the a-sync request originates from the URLF Kernel Client and it will be forwarded from RAD Kernel to RAD User Space? Analogy: A sends an email to B. B forwards the email to C. The email is forwarded from B.
