C is correct. "Version X" is allowed to be only one of these: R77.30, R80.10, R80.20, and so on. https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_Installation_and_Upgrade_Guide/Topics-IUG/MVC-Upgrade-Supported-Versions.htm so due to "besides the destination version" 1 other version should be the correct answer.

Regardless the QTY cluster members, a cluster can only run two versions at a time. Take away the destination version from the total of two versions allowed...

Selected Answer: C
Before upgrading the cluster it will be running just a single version and this is the normal situation. To upgrade o a different major version, you need MVC to sync the state tables between the two major versions. So it MPC supports 2 versions DURING the upgrade but the question says excluding the Target version which makes the answer C - one version

Weirdly worded question Perhaps I am incorrect but Seems A https://downloads.checkpoint.com/fileserver/SOURCE/direct/ID/115913/FILE/CP_R81.10_Installation_and_Upgrade_Guide.pdf Page 364 Version X" is allowed to be only one of these: R77.30, R80.10, R80.20, and so on R77.30, R80.10, R80.20, R80.30, R80.40 Else the question references In a Multi-Version Cluster, the Cluster Members can run only these versions: in R81.10 and R80.10 (or higher)* in R81.10 and R77.30 Or perhaps it just means MAJOR versions, which in this case would be R77.30, R80.X guess most think C

I think D, if we are referencing major versions.

Selected Answer: C
Multi-Version Cluster (MVC) Upgrade In an R81.10 multi-version cluster, one or more R81.10 members can synchronize and be active along with members of only one other version, which can be R77.30 or any version above it. While the cluster is an MVC: • The Mode cannot change from High Availability to Load Sharing or vice versa. • The recovery mode in High Availability cannot be changed. • The cluster topology must not change. While installing a policy on an MVC, the policy will only be installed on members having the version of the Cluster object. Therefore, the policy must be installed twice, once for each version. This is achieved by manually changing the version on the Cluster object to install policy to members in each version. Source: CCSE Student Guide
