Selected Answer: D
Based on DAMA-DMBOK2 (Version 2), one of the key reasons why organizations do not dispose of non-value-adding information is that storage is cheap and easily expanded. While removing redundant, obsolete, and trivial (ROT) data is best practice, many organizations opt to retain unnecessary data simply because modern storage solutions are relatively inexpensive. However, this can lead to increased costs in terms of data governance, security, and retrieval efficiency.
