A building has a floor space of 16.7 m (55 ft) by 45 m (150 ft) with a common core measuring 9.17 m (30 ft) by 13.7 m (45 ft). How many individual can be provided in the usable floor space?

TDMM page 3-45 To determine the number of individual work areas that the ER will serve through both the backbone and horizontal cabling, divide the amount of usable floor space by 100 SF.
(55*150) - (30*45) = 6900 SF
individual work areas = 6900sf / 100sf
individual work areas = 69

(55*150) + (30*45) = 9600 SF
