C. Fallback topic
In Power Virtual Agents, the fallback topic is used to handle situations where the user input is not recognized by the chatbot. If the user input is not matched to any of the topics or questions in the chatbot, the fallback topic will be triggered, allowing you to configure a response or redirect the conversation to a different topic. This is why you should configure the fallback topic if you want the chatbot to start from the beginning of the conversation if the user input is unrecognized.
AI features like natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) are used to help the chatbot understand and respond to user input. These features are used to match user input to the appropriate topic or question in the chatbot.
While AI features are important for recognizing and understanding user input, they alone do not determine how the chatbot will handle unrecognized input. The fallback topic serves as a catch-all for input that is not recognized by the chatbot's AI features, and allows you to configure a specific response or action for those situations. So it's important to have a fallback topic configured in addition to using AI features to ensure the chatbot can respond appropriately to any user input.
To make the chatbot start from the beginning of the conversation if user input is unrecognized, you should configure the Fallback topic. This topic is designed to handle unrecognized user input and can be set up to guide the conversation back to the beginning or take appropriate actions.
