Potential customers of a company's new product have tight tolerance requirements. The company plans to purchase a critical component. To meet customer requirements, the company should first:
A.
implement statistical process control for the component.
B.
bring manufacturing of the critical component in-house.
Can someone explain me why is it not A ? Even though is your supply is certified you can have manufacturing problem due to design with this new component. You have to process statistical implementation.
"The company plans to purchase a critical component", I think the tolerance is checked and the company cannot fulfil, so they outsource this to supplier
