B The alert policy can send out alert when a group has been created. In this case creating a team would create an O365 group that will trigger this alert

Although the answer can be B, as of today, the alert policy settings are in Security admin centre (Microsoft Defender), but not in Compliance admin centre (Microsoft Purview).
