Put it like this - If a door is locked first we need to unlock it before we can do anything.
Likewise - a resources needs to be unlocked before we can do anything.
If something is locked - no one - the owner , the father or mother can get in.
If a resource is locked, no one can delete it until it is unlocked
Hi all, I took AZ-900 exam Friday 12 July 2024 and many questions are similar to the questions here. Overall the exam was easy to take, much easier than AWS
I believe the indicated answer is correct.
The first answer, which might seem correct, is certainly wrong because "Only the Owner and the User Access Administrator built-in roles can create and delete management locks" (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ azure-resource-manager/management/lock-resources?tabs=json#who-can-create-or-delete-locks).
Therefore the "Global Administrator" has NO power to delete the resource.
The latter (the Global Administrator) could delete the resource only if FIRST "elevate your access" to "User Access Administrator" (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control /elevate-access-global-admin#how-does-elevated-access-work).
But nothing tells us that this operation was implemented by the Global Administrator.
So the answer appears to be correct.
