BD – Pay-as-you-go pricing is great for a cost-effective manner, and with auto scaling policies, customer can define a scaling policy that performs the optimal scaling action, such as change in capacity by value or percentage, or setting exact capacity values. Cross-Region workload deployment is not fitting for the question (there is nothing about globalisation). There is no request for monitoring user activity, so CloudTrail is also incorrect. There is nothing about checking any statuses or collecting logs, so there is no need for centralized logging.

B and D are the correct answers ❌ A. Cross-Region workload deployment – This helps with disaster recovery and global reach, but it’s not directly related to cost-effective seasonal scaling. ❌ C. Built-in AWS CloudTrail audit capabilities – CloudTrail is for security and compliance auditing, not for handling workload spikes or cost savings. ❌ E. Centralized logging – Centralized logging helps with monitoring and troubleshooting, but it does not contribute to scalability or cost-efficiency.

Pay-as-you-go pricing in AWS means you pay for resources only when you use them, allowing cost optimization during seasonal workload increases. Auto Scaling, on the other hand, automatically adjusts resource capacity based on demand, ensuring your infrastructure scales up to handle peak seasons and scales down to reduce costs during off-peak periods. Together, they provide a cost-effective way to manage variable workloads.

Selected Answer: BD
B. Pay-as-you-go pricing: With pay-as-you-go pricing, the company can scale its resources up or down based on demand during the seasonal workload increase. This allows the company to pay only for the resources it uses, helping to optimize costs. D. Auto Scaling policies: Auto Scaling allows the company to automatically adjust the number of resources based on demand. By setting up Auto Scaling policies, the company can define rules to automatically add or remove resources to match the workload. This ensures that the company can handle the seasonal workload increase efficiently while minimizing costs during periods of lower demand.
