A is the answer https://docs.aws.amazon.com/license-manager/latest/userguide/license-manager.html As you build out your cloud infrastructure on AWS, you can save costs by using Bring Your Own License model (BYOL) opportunities. That is, you can re-purpose your existing license inventory for use with your cloud resources.

Selected Answer: A
When an ecommerce company migrates its IT infrastructure from an on-premises data center to the AWS Cloud, the cost of application software licenses is typically the company's direct responsibility. This is because AWS provides the infrastructure and the underlying software components, but the company is responsible for acquiring and managing the necessary licenses for the specific applications it uses on AWS.

https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/shared-responsibility-model/ IMHO, this should be part of "Shared Responsibility Model" discussion, from above link " The customer assumes responsibility and management of the guest operating system (including updates and security patches), other associated application software as well as the configuration of the AWS provided security group firewall".

This is a poorly worded question... I thought B, too, and I think it's not the answer because we're not purchasing network gear, PDU's, battery backups and other infrastructure items that aren't servers and storage (Instance Stores, EC2 Dedicated Hosts, etc). But depending on the product you buy from AWS, software licenses can be AWS's responsibility, too. Again, poorly worded...
