IMO: A, because of lower Zonal transaction cost than inter region & data loss risk of core node termination (immediate on-demand availability) https://docs.aws.amazon.com/emr/latest/ManagementGuide/emr-plan-instances-guidelines.html#emr-dev-core-instance-group-spot
