"Stop spending money running and maintaining data centers – Focus on projects that differentiate your business, not the infrastructure. Cloud computing lets you focus on your own customers, rather than on the heavy lifting of racking, stacking, and powering servers." https://docs.aws.amazon.com/whitepapers/latest/aws-overview/six-advantages-of-cloud-computing.html

Selected Answer: A
When users move their on-premises workloads to the AWS Cloud, they can benefit from eliminating the expenses associated with running and maintaining their own data centers. AWS takes care of the underlying infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and data center management, allowing users to focus on their core business rather than managing physical infrastructure.

I don't understand the difference between "expenses for running and maintaining data centers" and "operational expenses", aren't they the same thing?

Selected Answer: A
A. Elimination of expenses for running and maintaining data centers is an advantage that users experience when they move on-premises workloads to the AWS Cloud. Moving on-premises workloads to the AWS Cloud eliminates the need to maintain expensive data centers, hardware, and related infrastructure. This can help organizations reduce their overall IT costs and improve their operational efficiency. AWS provides a wide range of cloud-based services, including compute, storage, and database services, that can be used to run on-premises workloads on the cloud. By moving workloads to AWS, organizations can take advantage of the flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud computing.

Moving to AWS in theory means you no longer need any infrastructure on premises other than an internet connection, in practice this is rarely the case
