Selected Answer: B
AWS X-Ray is a service that collects data about requests that your application serves, and provides tools that you can use to view, filter, and gain insights into that data to identify issues and opportunities for optimization. For any traced request to your application, you can see detailed information not only about the request and response, but also about calls that your application makes to downstream AWS resources, microservices, databases, and web APIs.

Selected Answer: B
B) Correct - AWS X-Ray is specifically designed for tracing requests as they travel through the components of a distributed application

D) Eliminated - VPC Flow Logs capture network traffic within a VPC. It is not helpful for identifying which internal service is causing slow response times in this context.

C) Eliminated - CloudTrail logs API calls for auditing purposes. It does not provide insights into request performance or latency.

A) Eliminated - CloudWatch provides monitoring metrics (like CPU utilization, Lambda duration, etc.), but it does not trace requests through multiple services to identify latency at each step.

This question is talking about slow response , it is about performance so i think so, I will go with B , first I thought CloudTrail but It provides detailed records of who made API calls, when they were made, and what actions were performed. However, CloudTrail primarily focuses on auditing and compliance rather than real-time performance monitoring and debugging. I think so B is correct answer.

In my opinion is C, why do you exclude it? I know that X-Ray could be not wrong but I would use X-Ray more to study how the component interacts each other. In this case we are talking about API calls. Is CloudTrail more appropriate for the use case?
