A user has configured ELB with three instances. The user wants to achieve High Availability as well as redundancy with ELB. Which of the below mentioned AWS services helps the user achieve this for ELB?
Suggested Answer:A🗳️
The user can provide high availability and redundancy for applications running behind Elastic Load Balancer by enabling the Amazon Route 53 Domain Name System (DNS. failover for the load balancers. Amazon Route 53 is a DNS service that provides reliable routing to the user's infrastructure.
This is an odd question. ELB is already high available between multiple AZ in the same region. "A. R53" only makes sense if you have multiple ELB in various regions. I don't see any reference to that in the question.
This is why I think "C Auto Scaling" would be a preferred answer for this badly worded question..
I think its A. See this link https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/create-a-backup-website-using-route-53-dns-failover-and-s3-website-hosting/
They are using s3 (a global resource) for backup sites.
By combining Auto Scaling with ELB, the number of EC2 instances can be automatically adjusted as traffic increases or decreases, ensuring high availability (HA) and redundancy.
For example, new instances can be automatically added when the load is high, and unnecessary instances can be removed when the load is low, achieving cost optimization and increased availability.
This is a badly worded question, R53 keyword is for cross regions, which is not mentioned.
HA for instances is configure through ELB, HA for ELB is configure through R53.
The question is asking to achieve HA "with ELB" and Not "for ELB", which the answer should be C : Auto Scaling (HA for instances within AZs in single region)
