Yes. Ans should be OAI along with singed cookie / URL. Partial ans given.

By creating an origin access identity (OAI), the S3 bucket can be configured to only allow access from CloudFront. The OAI acts as a trusted entity that CloudFront uses to fetch objects from the S3 bucket on behalf of users. This allows the Administrator to restrict public access to the S3 bucket while still serving the content through CloudFront.
