It's C, however it's worded very strangely. It's basically saying "AWS will take care of physical and environmental controls for you and you inherit this right".
Oh my god the answer is C - Inherited controls https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/shared-responsibility-model/
first i Thought it is testing my english and then saw it is not
Per English dictionary, "receive" is the synonym of "Inherit". So, the answer is C. "AWS will take care of physical and environmental controls for you and you inherit/ receive this"

In the AWS shared responsibility model, the customer fully inherits physical and environmental controls from AWS. This means that AWS is responsible for the security and management of the underlying infrastructure, including the data centers, networking, and power systems. AWS implements stringent physical and environmental controls to ensure the security and availability of their infrastructure.
c is correct

Terribly worded question. almost a "double positive creates a negative?" situation. Customer has to do some sort of patching, so NOT A,
Customer still has to do some awareness training, so NOT B,
and Customer must also maintain some sort of configuration management, so also NOT D
that leaves C, which I could argue, if there is a VPN to AWS from the offices, physical access to the office (and AWS "inherited?") is still a customer responsibility?
For the audience, this is what AWS is teaching us, not always direct logic. Pick C to pass the exam.

Inherited Controls – Controls which a customer fully inherits from AWS: Physical and Environmental controls
Shared Controls – Controls which apply to both the infrastructure layer and customer layers, but in completely separate contexts or perspectives:
Patch Management – AWS is responsible for patching and fixing flaws within the infrastructure, but customers are responsible for patching their guest OS and applications.
Configuration Management – AWS maintains the configuration of its infrastructure devices, but a customer is responsible for configuring their own guest operating systems, databases, and applications.
Awareness & Training – AWS trains AWS employees, but a customer must train their own employees.
