Correct Answer: A https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/vpc-nat-gateway.html "To ensure that your NAT gateway can access the internet, the route table associated with the subnet in which your NAT gateway resides must include a route that points internet traffic to an internet gateway. For more information, see Creating a Custom Route Table. If you delete a NAT gateway, the NAT gateway routes remain in a blackhole status until you delete or update the routes. For more information, see Adding and Removing Routes from a Route Table."

Selected Answer: A
To resolve the issue, the Administrator should verify the status and availability of the NAT gateway associated with the nat-xxxxxxx identifier. If the NAT gateway is not available, it needs to be recreated or fixed. Once the NAT gateway is functioning properly, the default route should be updated to point to the correct NAT gateway, enabling internet connectivity for the EC2 instance in the private subnet.

Selected Answer: A
The state of the route. The blackhole state indicates that the route's target isn't available (for example, the specified gateway isn't attached to the VPC, or the specified NAT instance has been terminated). "
