D Alias records are best used for routing to an AWS Resource As a good reminder: A record = URL to IPv4 AAAA record = URL to IPv6 CNAME record = URL to URL (All the same, one url = Many URL's) Alias record = AWS service

Selected Answer: D
By creating an alias record in Account A that points directly to the DNS name of the load balancer in Account B, you can achieve efficient and cost-effective routing. This method leverages Route 53's alias functionality, which allows you to create a DNS record that behaves like a CNAME record but has the performance benefits of an A record.

it's C .. you can't have alias record in your account to point at a service in other account , so CNAME in account A will point to Alias in account B which can point to a service "ALB"

I think it is C, The main point is that the resource is in a different account. I don't think you can create an alias record for a resource not in your account.

CNAME — Canonical name The fully qualified domain name (for example, www.example.com) that you want Route 53 to return in response to DNS queries for this record. A trailing dot is optional; Route 53 assumes that the domain name is fully qualified. This means that Route 53 treats www.example.com (without a trailing dot) and www.example.com. (with a trailing dot) as identical.
