This question is outdated. The IOPS ratio used to be 30:1 but it was increased to 50:1 in Aug-2016 according to this link: https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2016/08/amazon-ebs-delivers-improved-performance-and-price-reduction/#:~:text=We%20are%20pleased%20to%20announce,for%20a%20100%20GB%20volume.
With that said, the right answer at the moment this question was created is A.
Correct answer is D...
Minimum volume size is 4GB and minimum IOPS is 100. Log into the console and try this out yourself with the mentioned requirements, you will have an EBS volume with 8GB and 200 IOPS.
In that case, wouldn't the answer be A as only IOPS value cannot be a deciding factor; we will need the RATIO between IOPS and Volume size to be less than 30 for this to work, right?
